Shri M Devender Singh is an IAS officer of the 2011 batch borne on Maharashtra cadre. Mr Singh has a wide range of experience in the Government Service. He has worked in two districts as CEO Zilla Parishad for nearly 3 years and in three districts as a collector and district magistrate for 6 years. Prior to government service, Mr Singh has worked in two multi-national banks as a Senior Business Analyst and extensively worked on cheque truncation system (CTS) and Core Banking Solution (CBS). CTS was rolled out as a pilot project in NCR region in 2008 and he has worked closely with RBI New Delhi. Mr Singh is an alumnus of IIT Roorkee and has wide range of experience of nearly 20 years in both private and public sectors. He is also the recipient of the prestigious Prime Minister's Award for excellence in public administration and various Government and social sector awards. Recently he was felicitated on the hands of Honourable Chief Justice of India Justice Bhushan Ramakrishna Gavai for his leadership role as Collector and District Magistrate Ratnagiri. He has joined Secretary to MPCB on 8th October 2025.
